The Korean American Scholarship for High School Seniors

The Minnesota Association for Korean Americans (MAKA) is awarding a limited number of scholarships to Minnesota high school seniors of Korean origin/heritage who plan to pursue a higher education. The Committee will review the application materials submitted by each student and award a non-renewable $500-$2000 Scholarship.

 Qualification:

  • Minnesota High School Senior in school year 2008-2009
  • Korean heritage
  • Plans to attend college.

 Application:

  • 2009 Application Form with enclosures. (Details on page 2 of the application form include the need for test scores, letters of reference and a high school transcript.)

Your application will not be considered complete unless we receive both the essay and the application form.

 Deadline:

  • Application packets must be mailed to arrive by September 15, 2008.
  • Winners will be notified by October 15, 2008.
